Teresa Goins started her company in Seattle in the 70's, becoming one of the trade name hand-dyers in the popular hand-painting era for Home Furnishings.

Her approach to the product was quite different from the other artisans; she believed that using dyes and creating patterns that repeat, would produce a more lasting product. She was right! Her early clients are still seeking her out to create permanent hand-dyed fabrics.

Teresa started out as a painter, but soon moved to larger “canvases”. The passion for fabric and design has always been her first love (driving force).

Since those early years of hand-dyeing, commissions from all over the world have kept her busy. After an addition to her family and a move to California, Teresa's design direction shifted to design work for mills and other textile companies.

Because of her unique “hand writing”, Teresa was approached by a Swiss Mill to turn some of her hand-dyed designs into print. From there, she has designed for Creation Baumann, Ruth Livingston, GMG Apparel, and throughout many other industries such as infant bedding, high-end bedding and sheets, dinnerware, fabrics for yachts, private aircrafts and numerous applications.
